The mechanics behind every market — pricing, PnL, liquidation, and how funds actually move.

What a position is

Each market tracks a real person's live net worth, sourced from Forbes' real-time data. Opening a position posts USDC margin and records the net worth at that moment as your entry price. There's no expiry — the position stays open until you close it.

PnL formula

PnL = size × leverage × (side === "long" ? (exit − entry) / entry : (entry − exit) / entry). Your payout on close is size + PnL, floored at 0 — you can never lose more than the margin you posted.

Liquidation

A position is liquidated automatically once the underlying net worth moves against you by roughly 1/leverage — at that point your PnL is capped at −size, i.e. you lose exactly your posted margin and nothing more.

Settlement model

Founder Perps is peer-to-pool, not peer-to-peer. All margin, winnings, and losses settle against a single shared treasury wallet rather than being matched against another trader directly.

Network

Trading runs on Solana mainnet, denominated entirely in USDC. Deposits and withdrawals are real on-chain SPL token transfers — deposits are verified on-chain before your balance is credited, and withdrawals are signed and sent directly from the treasury wallet.
